I do have a few left...

Just to be clear (because some people have misunderstood), This is NOT the entire compressor mount, it is just a custom bracket I made to replace the upper bracket in the Slee Offroad 2nd Gen. compressor mounting kit (http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/products_air.htm #SOK001) to adapt it to work on the 3rd Gen. Tacoma.
You will need to have/get the Slee kit for this to work. Installation is per Slee instructions until you get to upper bracket and then just use mine instead of theirs.

If you're still interested you can paypal me the $28 (markj.pdx@gmail.com) and leave your shipping address in the notes, I will get one sent out to you.

What is the advantage of mounting it up front like this?

As opposed to mounting it where? Most compressors are mounted in the engine, this allows you to fit both a compressor and dual battery system.

Well, for me it was the cleanest solution I could come up with to have both a 2nd battery and a compressor under the hood of my truck.
Also, I wanted the battery in the space on the passenger side to help balance weight distribution and not overload left-front corner of the truck with dual batteries in stock location, exacerbating the taco lean.
I wanted the compressor up front because it draws a lot of power and I wanted to keep my wire runs to the battery as short and small gauge as possible. Mounting it elsewhere would have required a lot more of a lot bigger (expensive) wire to achieve.

That was my main rational for my situation, YMMV

Most of the installs ive seen were in the back of the engine bay or somewhere else altogether, I was just curious why if you had a reasoning for this particular placement. Thanks for answering my question.

Not likely, I've only had a couple people inquire after the first two batches have run out.
That being said, if we can get 10-12 people interested, I'd be happy to get another batch made up.
