New car smell faded too fast on my 3rd gen

Just trying to think of the most mundane and random 3Rd gen complaints possible...

 

Get some Clazzio seat covers. They will impart a refreshed new car smell.

 

Replaced with the smell of disappointment?

Or just the faintest scent of lowered expectations?

 

I personally use Febreeze freshner "new car smell" fixes her right up.

 

I wish there was another cup holder. I seem to fill them up too fast

 

Too much sweat and bean burritos

 

go to the dealer and ask for the protective plastic that comes in the brand new cars and stuff that under your seat and bammmm

 

Why do people like that smell? It's disgusting. Probably bad for you too

 

Smells like Money. But so does a stockyard

 

It's the release of volatiles from all the new plastics, textiles and what not. The fact that it doesn't last long is really a function of improved materials. So what I'm saying is you should be thankful that you're livinig a healthier, cleaner life and that any criticisms of it's ephemerality are really just nonsense.

 

awww man! I heard you went to the Dealership 4 times to report the problem. They said it was part of the trucks "character" and could not replicate problem after the shop porter detailed it. You better start the toyota buy back paperwork.

the new car smell wasn't a new truck smell and I was mad

It actually made me sick. I drove with the windows down as often as I could when the new car smell was in the truck

 

New car scent vanished after about 3 months for me

 

I was damn happy when the new car smell went away. If you drive a car full of leather, high end wood, etc. I bet it smells nice. With all the rubber and plastic in my truck it just smelled like a new shower curtain or one of those tacky beach shops full of Chinese-made inflatable products.

 

Truck must be running good, eh Smitty?

 

If you must fart in your truck at least do it with the windows down it prolongs the new car smell
