New car smell making me sick!

    Has anyone else been bothered by that new car smell of the plastic offgassing beside me.Not only does it give me a headache,but I can also taste it in my mouth.Has anyone else been bothered by that new car smell of the plastic offgassing besides myself? I have 800 miles on my truck does anybody know when the smell go away.
    I left my mats in my hallway because I got weathertechs and now my hallway smells like my car so is anyone else being bothered by the smell ?

    Eat fast food in it, open the windows, air fresheners, fart, perfume, I don't know what to tell you. I actually like the new car smell...

    Yes I'm sure every one knows about plastic off gassing can make you sick for real my hall smell like my car and I just went out and back in my house and I can taste it

    So the smell is bothering you, right?

    Take it back to the dealer. The smell should have been removed as part of the dealer prep.

    Hell no I quit smoking 10 yrs ago cigarettes ruin a care I won't let the wife smoke in her car and I won't ride with my friends who do smoke because it bothers me since I quit too the smell of cigarette smoke

    Nice job man I quit about a year ago never smoked in my new truck but I don't mind the smell just not too much of it

    Unfortunately, but other then leaving your windows open at night in the garage there isn't too much to do about it. Even air fresheners/odor blocks will just cover the smell, not eliminate the petrochemicals out-gassing The out-gassing from the various plastics used in almost every new vehicle today is a problem for some people. it WILL fade after a while

    Being serious here, you seem to have a lot of issues with the Tacoma based on all the threads you start, personal issues or not. Maybe it's time for a different kind of truck man
