I love the smell, but leaving your windows open as much as possible might help.

If you don't want to return it under warranty for dealer correction, you can let Father Time take care of it, as others have suggested.

You don't need a garage. Install WeatherTech vent visors, leave the windows cracked for a few weeks.

It is possible that the dealer sprayed extra "new car smell" in your vehicle. I wouldn't put it past a dealership to get the hairbrained idea that would be a good idea.

And yes, some people ARE much more sensitive to the fumes from petrochemicals then others are. Some people get sick at the smell of gasoline or diesel fuel, others not. It's basically an allergic reaction. Some folks have it, some don't.

At least I can understand the first post in this thread.

As others have said, drive around with windows down and use air fresheners.

Was simply making a joke. That's one of the best parts of a new vehicle is the smell!

So..... you set a bad example by buying new. It's proven that more pollution occurs in the construction of a new vehicle than is emitted by a well maintained older vehicle.

Actually, you set a bad example by having any vehicle. You should do your part and walk. Ride a bike if you must. Or take a bus. While it pollutes, it's on a less per person carried scale, assuming a high level of occupancy.

And if you intend to take your truck off road, your damage to the planet is irreparable. Both in direct pollutants, waste of fuel, and crushing little bugs under your tires.

    Shame on you !
