OP, Ive heard the best way to get rid of the "new car smell" quickly and permanently is to remove the oil dipstick and then put it back in. Works every time!

Are you kidding me? People have the right to complain, but seriously, the new car smell? Leave the windows cracked, spray a bottle of cologne in there, better yet leave the doors open for a few hours while you're home. Is it really that hard to remedy the issue without bitching over it?

Now now mike I know you can be of some help. Give a him a few tips

He could out fish oil in the vents or dirty laundry under the seat or pee in a cup and leave it in the holder.

Use a bulldozer to pull your dipstick out, then burn it in the backseat in a pile of grammar books.

Get some ass in the back seat or whatever your preference may be, nothing like a good ass grind in a car or truck will level give it that "what the fuck is that?" reaction,,,,bring back memories, ridding whatever smell you had before,...but if your truck smells too new, rinse and repeat...that will solve your new car odor and maybe get you some strange if you can get it in the truck...woman are more turned on by ass smell than anything...good luck and have fun out there....

holy fuck another thread full of idiots, big surprise. these issues are becoming more and more common with plastics and other non natural manufactured materials. it is a sensitivity that a person can develop, just like a food or plant allergy. this is certainly not the 1st time i've heard of this issue. OP you just need to air that bitch out. you can try wiping things down a bunch with a cleaner that doesn't bother you and use a carpet cleaner with no shampoo for the floors and seats.
