Didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if this idea has already been posted. Baking soda will absorb odors but you need some containers that will expose the soda to the air w/o spilling. Might even be able to sprinkle on the carpet and seats and vacuum it up later - repeat as needed. For the toxic airborne chemicals, find some activated charcoal canisters (or maybe bulk) to keep in your truck. I believe that there are some furnace or air freshener filters that could be made to work.

Good luck and keep after it: not really good for us humans.

I dont think these other idiots noticed due to their burnt out sinus cavities from all the cocaine back in the day! I have had many new cars including the wifes 2014 Jeep with leather interior and none bothered me except this one. It was only for the first week and especially the first day I spent more than 30 mins in it when I got a headache and had to roll down the windows. Lighten up on the OP Francis!

Did you not read the dipstick thread and its aftermath? I'm surprised folks are being as nice as they are.

Do you need to know, or care?
Try the "ordering a color NOT!" thread for more interesting insight.

Can't wait for the "steering wheel don't steer" thread coming to a Gen 3 forum near you.

I find it entertaining (and a bit mind blowing) how people have survived this long in their lives by being this clueless. Open the damn windows and air it out. The smell will pass.

I did some carpentry work for a woman that had bought a new Lexus and never drove it. She had it parked in the garage with the windows down and was not going to drive it until she felt it was done off gassing. She was three months in at the time.

I'd take it from yours and put it in my car if I could...

I can't wait to smell it in my new TRD Sport...

You most certainly are. I do not recommend going back for it.
