This is all truth. GM has a ways to go to prove long term reliability. I drove both before I bought my Tacoma. One of the biggest factors for me was long term reliability. Toyota has a great track record with this. GM simply does not. The Tacoma is the better bet from a reliability standpoint.

I'm a millennial I suppose, '91, and I'd guess that I've probably worked longer and harder than 80% of the people on this forum. I've made big mistakes, paid my dues in both time and money. Owned those mistakes, and have built a life learning from them. So as a response to your generalizing name-calling I'd like to say you're probably an old cranky fuck with ED.

    Good day.

    Actually a millennial too lmao.
But can't stand most people my age since they've all been spoon fed their whole life and expect it to be the same in the real world.
I want raised like a little cunt like most of the people I grew up with. My parents were old school. So I'm the same way dude. Worked as hard as I can for everything I have. But many are fuckin pathetic. The guys my age I work with are lazy cry baby fuckin cunts. And just complain when they get laid off because they're so fuckin useless then say shit to me that I'm a boot licker because im never off.
No boot licking at all just work hard and don't fuck around.

Someone at work bought a new Canyon in silver. Those fender flares are ridiculous, look like VW bug fenders. I looked at it yesterday and shuddered.

Everyone has an opinion, what is funny though is ALL reviews say the Canyon is the best looking truck and has a phenomenal interior for the class. But style is subjective, most people (many on here) think the Tacoma is one ugly truck with its pig snout (I think it looks pretty good in certain applications though but no where near as attractive as the Canyon but probably ahead of the Colorado in terms of looks). Everyone is is free to their thoughts, but yours are in the minority on that subject...

Complaints on both are on par with each other (many minor and a few major as I follow both forums), the Tacoma is no longer more reliable as it has fallen from grace and its resale isn't much better anymore. Times are changing, can't base this new Tacoma off 2000 model year stats. Either truck is a great truck, you just have to put faith in to all the electronics that come with them these days.

I don't think you can really say anything with certainty about the reliability and resale of either truck. We'll see in 5-10 years.

To each his own on the looks. I was just stating my opinion. I think the Tacoma is the best looking truck mid or full size bar none (except maybe the Raptor). Of course others might think the Colorado/Canyon is dead sexy.

I think the Canyon trim is much better looking than the Colorado.
