Same thing, they take up the space of the bearing forcing it out.. put a wad iniside  (that's what she said haha) and hammer a bolt in, pull bolt out and put more paper towel in then repeat over and over until it comes out.. this method takes a little longer than the grease but also isn't messy so pick your poison.. took me 5 minutes with grease and was told about 15 with towels... personally laying on your side and trying to hold a bolt and swing a hammer gets tiring so I took the quicker/messier route but that's me. Just if you do grease don't hammer but one time, fill it then knock the bolt pretty good and take out and re pack otherwise youll just be hammering straight into the block and you don't want that.

Glad you got it installed, I'm fortunate enough to utilize the auto craft shop on fort carson. So I was able to use a lift and all the special tools I mentioned are borrowed for free .

Well I had a lift I could have used but it currently had a Chevy getting rockwells and 54's and no power steering so I didn't feel like moving it.. My truck is lifted so it wasn't hard at all to move around and probably was a tad easier on the ground in reality since we didn't have a high trams jack
