Sounds like your about 2.75" lift, or there about. You can fit 285's, but you'll need to trim.

shoot...no wonder you were hearing a poping noise...im at ~25" (measuring the same way) w/ my 4" lift spindles and coilovers at ~1"!!

i would say your about at ~2.75" over stock now...but you can always measure a truck at the dealership to make sure.

Ok. Noise is still there. I really notice it in the morning when it's cold.

I will try torquinh the castle nuts to the uca ball joint after work. I remember backbiting off some to slip the pin through the hole so maybe it's loose.

If it's not tight, could that cause a series of popping noises?

OK, I re-torqued EVERYTHING this afternoon after work and it is still making a popping noise, and now it even makes a quick squeek sometimes right when I start to acclerate after stopping for a while or after reversing.

I noticed that the shock has some play in it, i.e. I can twist it while the truck is stopped. I can twist it enough that the bottom loop of the coilover that has the bolt going through it hits the steel pocket side. This makes me think if its supposed to.

I do remember when installing them, that the two cylindrical washers that go inside there-one was longer than the other-was initially given to me such that the longer one would be on the rear side of the truck and the shorter on the front. I accidentally reversed that and installed it with the shorter on the back and the longer on on the front. I didn't think it would matter, and looking at it seems as though it still wouldn't. I imagine when the shock twists it would still hit, just hit the front of the pocket.

Hopefully I'm making sense. I could really use some insight or suggestions. I am getting really fed up and want to crash my truck into a wall right now. I am really close to just taking the fuckers out and throwing them in the trash and putting my stock crap back on......but it rides so nice!!!!! It doesn't make noise when cruising.

    Any ideas?

PS....whats the point of the shock swiveling anyways, toytecs don't....geez louis.

Chris? I'm about ready to fly you down here.....

My SAW c/os are directional, if installed backwards they hit the swaybar... any marks between your swaybar and c/o?

Based on other's stock measurements, I was initially lifted 4.25"-4.5", before dropping it down to 2.75"....I drove about 50 miles with that....is it possible I broke something? If so, what?

It feels like something loose and slipping when I start to move. Like something rubbing metal on metal. I don't know what to do :(

Did you install the sway bar spacer?

How bout installing a camera in the wheel well some where and see what you can find I would also double check the top three bolts that hold the coilover due to the small space that's available it could be that they aren't tight enough.Just some ideas

Another thing Im thinking.....If the sway bar spacer was installed in the wrong orientation, it would make the sway bar hit the CO's......Make sure the spacers moved the sway bar more tward the front of the truck....

Chris, is there a way to tell "forward" on the spacer?

I just put mine on, and the sway bar is still, barely, brushing the coilovers.

It was grinding something fierce, now not at all, but the fact that it looks like it's touching worries me.

The sway bar spacer, is mounted so the bolt holes the sway bar mounts to are more twards the front of the truck. If you put them on the other way, the CO's may hit the sway bar.
