Guys i have no sway bar and a 6 inch Fabtech and Fabtech Dirtlogic coilovers. I never had this infamous popping/ clunk sound either till after i installed the dirtlogics. I really think it is caused by the cycling of the shocks along with the metal sperichal bearings and the swivel upper mount. Oh and along with the front CVs making a noise and the caliper slap. Just my thoughts it comes and goes and truck drives fine and straight and solid. Krookz i think has experienced the same popping, i got used to it and 6 months later all is well. Just sucks that you invest 500 or in my case 1000 bucks and you all of a sudden get a new popping sound. Wish ya the best.

Nitro charge should be good. They were new.

    I installed the spacers correctly.

Geeze. Don't know what else to do.

I have the same coilovers but mine dont pop, they just make a small squeak over speed bumps, probably the spring i am guessing, you might want to take them and get them charged, wouldlt hurt, they should be able to do them with them on the truck.

Ok so this caught my attention, I have 2.5 camburg sway-a-way COs and I have this poping sound to, and it's only at a full turn, with a bit of bumpiness. I checked it out and it's the sway bar hitting the bottom of the spring, as there are markings from contact, so I took off the sway bar and grinded out aliltle bit where I saw it was rubbing. It's not as bad, but it's still there at a full turn, it drives me crazy! Mabey there's in after market sway bar? What do you guys think?

I'm gonna remove mine as I did see a small rub mark but it seems like there's enough room soni ignored it.

If it fixes it then I'll be happy bit won't have a sway bar. I need my sway bar for towing don't I?

OK, later this afternoon I plan on removing the drivers side coilover and putting it back in. I am also going to play around with the ball joint.

Question: After I break the spindle loose from the tapered bolt, what should I be looking for when moving the ball joint around in the spindle?

I thought I fixed the noise from my drivers side, but its still there. When ever I hit little bumps, I can hear a popping/loose kinda noise on the drivers side. Very annoying that I can't fix this darn issue!!!

The only thing that I haven't check yet is if the shock is low on nitro. I'm not sure even how to go about this

Check to see if it is loose. It should be snug.

You cant "Check" the PSI in the CO's, you have to have them re charged.

Thanx Chris. Would there be any other symptoms if the nitro was low? Other then the annoying noise, it seems to drive good. No lean or roughness over bumps.

Those 2.5 Camburg/SAW c/os MUST have the swaybar relocate installed to function properly with the swaybar. They should have come with the relocate kit thing.

    Did you put that on?
