New daily

Finally got a daily to rally/ keep the miles of my Tacoma! No pics til tommorow but it's 1998 3.4 auto runner! My plan is to diy the hell out of everything I can, so I guess it'll be the daily/guinea pig for future Tacoma mods aswell. Going from a 22re and a 22r too a 1GR-FE And a 5VZE in a matter of 8ish months I feel like a cave man who just discovered fire, to all of the sudden a cave man who is wrenching on a space shuttle. Thank God for Google, Chilton books and Tacoma world!

That 3rd gen looks great. I had a 99 Sr5 with the 3.4 myself that I sold about two years ago. I regret it almost daily. I look forward to following your build to see what else you have in the works.

 

Finished the front bumper, it's been coming together slowly but surely. Wired up the light bar in the rain, gotta love that beautiful Oregon weather!

 

Started on the rear bumper today, yes is schedule 40 and yes it's galvy but I've worked with it alot and precautions are taken, including respirators and a couple extra steps. Not my best work, passenger side reveals are kinda wack but it'll do bumper stuff, I'm thinking about sliders next but not sure yet.

 

For the time being my rear bumper is done ish, I started building my sliders this afternoon, will post pics tomorrow when they're done and welded on.

 

Finished and painted the rear bumper and sliders, I don't think they turned out bad for some back yard junk. More to come!
