I just picked up a 2014 long bed and I'm looking into an Allpro Pack Rack. Does anyone near South Shore MA have one I can take a look at? I would like to take some measurements and seeing one in person would help.

    Thanks

Just realized that my smartyphone never loaded my picture when I posted yesterday about doing the spring tune-up and polish job on the bike.

So not looking forward to that first juicy bug...
So far so good, though! No bugs this morning (28 degrees tends to keep them out of the air)

    Welcome sir.

IPF lights came in today...just waiting on the Philips LED DRL kit and it's time to start assembling the ARB.

Painting my headlamps this weekend and hopefully the ARB bumper fog lamps with Duplicolor Metal Cast yellow and go from there.

My plan is to replace the stock ARB style bumper/signal lamps (originally from a Euro Mark I/II VW GTI) with an LED running light by building a custom mount/blockoff that hopefully doesn't look cobbled together.

Any notable differences between those and the URD ones (performance-wise)?

Wouldn't he need a tune to really get a noticeable difference from our engines? Thought VVT was difficult like that.

It's the DT Y-pipe. The original version before they started including resonators lol.

I'm not sure on performance benefits. But $50+ shipping is $50+ shipping :p

I notice a lot more pull past 2,000-2,500rpm with the long tubes. It doesn't just make noise anymore and take forever to gain speed. It pulls. I got up to 80 or 90 on 95 this afternoon seemingly MUCH quicker, and it seems like the trans wasn't searching for gears. Just seems.... Better, performance-wise

Anyone ever been camping in the Niagara Falls region? Going to be taking the wife toward the end of May and looking for a decent campground that isn't too far from the falls. Seems the Canadian side has better views and is cheaper.

What's the exchange rate? I found everything to be more expensive when I went about a year and a half ago

    Currently: $1 USD = $1.10 Canadian

So pretty similar, but it seems that the actual campground fees are cheaper over the border (by about $20 for a similar site)

Nope. I've heard the same thing about the Canadian side, though.
Closest I ever got to the Falls was when I rode through the finger lakes region right after high school graduation. I was doing a low-budget motorcycle tour of the New England area, and I nearly rode over to the Falls, but I was saddle sore and didn't feel like riding the extra 2 hours on I-90 from Seneca Falls. Plus I had reservations at a campground on Seneca lake for that evening, so I couldn't really have made it work.

If you do end up going post up how it was. I was supposed to go with the gf and her family this summer but plans fell through, and I am curious as to what I will be missing.

You'll be missing an expensive cold shower on a nice wood deck with a lot of tourists :)

Yeah, I was just trying to make him feel better about missing it :D It is a cool place and it seems a lot more built up vs. when I visited it last.
