I hope so 2, otherwise I won't be on here that often. One of the reason I stayed away from the other sites (damn adds take forever to load).

I hope these ads are a April fools joke... But it's hard to tell. Probably won't be on here as often if it's permanent. Seems pretty elaborate for a one day joke.

 

I have a feeling Chris is starting to cash in on this site by starting the ads in April.... Its just a coincidence that its apirl fools day. Hopefully it is just a joke though

 

Yeah one can hope. It's a shame if it's true, the only reason I joined this site was because it was so... Untouched? No ads etc. Oh well, I guess all things good don't last forever.

 

It was a good site when there were no ads and is still gonna be a good site with ads. I really don't seem the problem with ads. I mean the site still works fine for me. The pages load fine. I dont seem what the whole problem people are having? You cant seem to think in this age where everything is rising in cost and think that a free site is gonna be free and have no ads. Its gonna happen some day. There ads not anything bad. Would people rather have to pay a monthly fee or let them be ads. I dont mind them. Sorry to rant but all these people that have threads and saying there leaving seem so stupid. Who cares. I love tacomas and still gonna use this site. Every site now has ads. It helps keep the sites running and make them free. This isn't towards you guys just so you know, just ranting of course lol

 

I still like the site and the people I've "met" here! I guess it really doesn't bother me to have to scroll past some ads. I've learned just about everything I know about my truck here. Every mod I've done has been researched here first. I've gained alot of confidence in working on my Toy from others here that have already done the things I'm about to do. Help is always available!

I think I've gained some friends off this site also. My plan is to get to a meet or two this year and I would hate to lose contact with the guys/gals from these meets.

I just hope things go back to "normal".

If they don't, I'm not going anywhere, and I'm assuming most "members" will hopefully get over it, and keep helping out technically, and maintaining the "relationships" that have been built here!

Hope there are others that feel the same.

Yep, the mods got us good. It did seem a little fishy that it was April Fools' Day when all the ads showed up...

 

Haha, imagine if they did it late last night, like 11:55 and had it go today. Things would have gotten very interesting.

Yea they probably tried it as and experiment too see if it was gonna bother anybody and did it on April fools day to have that to fall back.on. lol

Are you running firefox with the ad blocker add on or something similar?

 

Yes, Adblock Plus, I had forgotten I installed it lol. Guess it works really well...

Just putting it out there again . If anybody is free and wants to help out .

 

Finally put my Icon CO's in. Rides awesome. The LR Uca's I got in the group buy were the wrong ones. They sent me FJ/4Runner Uca's. Gotta send m back to Metal Tech. Should have checked the part #'s before i tried to install. Waiting to hear from them. Still have to install Icon rear resi's and wheelers 3 aal pk. Tires and alignment in a few weeks. Hope all is well with you guys.
