I need hope guys. I guess I'm gonna be ordering some wheelers offroad 16s wheels and it says on there site that some 2004 models that came with the rare vsc option can't take 15s . What do they mean. What does vsc mean. How do I know if I have it lol. I'm so dumb

 

OKQ had it on earlier and I really just laughed more than listened to which town BUT hell with the lines at the BIG ORANGE store nothing would surprise me....

Our City has already "Closed" schools for Friday ...next up will be the day cares...

 

VSC = Vehicle Stability Control

So now you're back to 16s? What about all the cost savings you get with 15s?

 

Vsc is vehicle stability control (traction control)

 

Wheelers now sells the black steel wheels in the 15s size I wanna get those but there sayinf I won't fit if I have the vsc on the truck. Idk if I have it. Idk how to find out

 

Oh, your post said you were looking at Wheeler's 16s. I have no idea how to find out, sorry man. You'll have to poke around in the 1st Gen section for your answers now

Edit: 16"s are 37lbs. 15"s are 30lbs. That is still really heavy

 

It talks about the vsc in the manual but I have no buttons for it. Wheelers said to turn the key to on but not start it and see what comes on. No buttom that lights up saying vsc so I should be ok buy want to make sure before I buy wheels lol

they are not cheap like steelies though. 11lbs a wheel is a huge difference, especially for a 4 banger. I have been told adding 1 lb per wheel is like adding 10lbs in your bed. So scs F-5 vs steelies would feel like a difference of 440lbs.

 

Thank you for the Infor. They look really nice and lightweight. I love them. But one problem. I need. 15s and they only come in. 16s. I need 15s cause tires are cheaper and load ranges are c. I'm fucked either way haha. Thanks for the help guys. You guys are the best

 

ANY FIRST GEN CAN RUN A 15 inch wheel. Go in the 1st gen section and post.

Fuck me..snowblower still won't start even after I emptied the tank, added fresh fuel and Startron. It's running on the prime but that's all.

$200 to fix it last year out the fkn window. I'll be calling them in the morning..so help me god if they are open they are getting this thing tossed through the front door
