The power door would be nice... but the push button start and chrome handles? Chrome and FJ don't mix IMO.

BTW the color for this one is called... Silver Fresco Metallic. That might be nice.

**EDIT** This particular one has the chrome handle addition, with black steel wheels. That should look nice. :D

...when are they going to make the FJ w/ convertible options? Removable top and doors would be soooo sweet.

I debated Tacoma vs. FJ before buying my Taco, and even test drove one. They are VERY hard to see out of, at least behind you. HUGE BLINDSPOT. Convertible options would change everything.

They are discontinuing the FJ and the 4Runner. They are going to combine both vehicles and make one.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
discontinue the 4runner? Why would they do that. they are more common on the road than even tacomas are.

I'm calling shenanigans on this one for now.

I've heard that the 4Runner is just going back to it's roots of being a highly capable true SUV. As far as the power rear door - I believe it's for the Hatchback. Everything else they can keep.

Less Electronics = Less crap that breaks.

It's a SEMA truck or something. Highly customized, just like the old school Taco they did a few years ago.

I'm still calling BS on the fj4runner. Too drastic of a change without advertising it. No public feed back could kill it.

    ^^

Wasn't that the original Tundra Concept? They kept pretty close to it.

Now, I'd certainly upgrade if the next Tacoma looks anything like the F-BAT.

no idea. I'm very curious what the next taco will look like. I'm sure when the 5th gen came out people were like wtf? it looks nothing like the current one.

The bed needs to be longer, but I like it. They need to go back to the REAL FJ erra - bring back a newer version FJ40.
