not bad. it needs some sort of logo in the center to complete it though imo.

I really like this. Add the Toyota land cruiser emblem in the middle and it would be perfect.

It's made out of ABS Plastic

I was a little too late to add logos or letters to it but might it still be possible, but every project you learn something new.

I'll be posting some pics soon with an update on this.

Thanks, I might need the measurements of that prototype some time later to apply to new grill designs. Although I could be open to letting it go once I get some things figured out. Only thing is that the bars are made out of wood, not sure if you'd want that but Ill have to send you some more pictures of it to make sure it's okay for you.

I'll get back to you soon on it, but if I forget to get back to you follow up with me

As a rule I usually refrain from posting at all in any 3rd gen related thread however I'll bend the rule for this.

Props for coming up with your own design and then making that concept into a prototype. There are not enough people with the patience or mental capacity to take on something and difficult as you have here.

Whereas I despise the basis for your efforts (Personally I hate the 3rd gen redesign), I wholeheartedly applaud the effort and ingenuity displayed in your creation.

    Bravo sir!

I like the original prototype better. Add the Toyota symbol in the middle and I would buy one. I'm not a fan of the vertical bars on the latest prototype.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, really appreciate it. I agree, right now the plastic one doesn't quite knock it out of the park but when I don't build things by hand I can only see the grille in cad from one standpoint and not take into consideration the whole tacoma. What I'm doing now that I have physical model of the plastic one is modifying it to make it without the bulbous curve and I'll be posting some pics soon. I'm working on adding a spot for a logo on both models.
