Glock G21 Gen 4. I heard they were hard to find which makes me all the more happy to have it. Took me a little bit of work to get the 13 round clip with it as well versus the 10.

speaking on safety classes in most states its a requirement if you want to get a conceal carry permit

Tires as a backdrop are a legitimate question (as I've seen it done by others) and dropping letters without postage is one as well-cause I've heard of people doing that as well. Shooting in the back yard is fine depending on location, your neighbors feelings, and as long as its not a common practice.

Done properly, yes. Indoor ranges will sometimes use shredded tires as a backstop.

About 20 years ago an indoor range in Orange County (CA) burned to the ground because the powder residue in the tires ignited.
Nobody was hurt... the range was closed by the time the fire got going. It smoldered for a few hours and didn't start until early morning.

No idea what you are talking about here, but if it involves someone else's mailbox and the postal service, you could be looking at a Federal felony.

Agreed... but more than your neighbors feelings is safety. If you are close enough to your neighbors that "their feelings" come into play, then safety is going to be more of an issue.
Regardless of what material you are using for a backstop, there's ALWAYS the potential for a ricochet, or a moon-shot going over the backstop.

As for whether you can legally or not, check your local laws. In California, we're good to go in unincorporated county territory within basic restrictions... minimum distance from structures, no shooting on or across a roadway or waterway, etc....
Minimum distance from structures is usually the main problem unless you own a ranch or a parcel in the middle of the desert.

I've never committed a felony so I'm good to own a handgun. I know how to properly handle guns as well.

Just more demand than supply I've heard. I even called Glock up about the recoil spring replacement they are doing on some of the earlier Generation 4 Glocks and to my understanding they told me to jump on a G21 if I find one as well. It actually wasn't too hard to find though.

 

Well one store said they were on backorder and the other could only find 10 round clips. All I really know is that I tried to call every store within a hundred mile radius and I know none of the stores I called had the G21 Gen 4 in stock for me to check out.
