    Hi All,
I'm a new (old, age wise) guy from Tucson AZ. I've been a bit of a lurker on and off here for a couple of years now. Found this site when I was helping my son look for a Tacoma to buy (He ended up with a white '98 4x4 AC TRD). What a great site and resource!

Anyhow, the recent passing of a relative has left me with a 2000 AC SR5 PreRunner V6 Auto with 114k miles, no locking diff. Pretty good shape overall but it's going to need a few things to get it up to snuff.

Timing belt looks like it was done at a 100k, so I don't think I'll have to worry about that for awhile. Runs great and took the 1000 mile trip home in stride, for the most part.

The suspension is shot (has the leaf spring sag problem). When the wife and I drove it back to Tucson from Sacramento a couple of weeks ago (fair load of crap in the back) it got a pretty unsettled on a few bumps (rocking back and forth) and was actually a bit scary at times. Will need to fix that ASAP. Will most likely get some 5100's and new leafs.

Has horrible (at least to me) 20x9 wheels running 275/45r20 Cooper tires. I put up a WTT ad on CL to see if maybe someone local to me wants to trade their 16-17" TRD's, or some other closer to stock, wheels/tires. We'll see what happens with that.

At the moment I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. It's nice having a truck but I can, and have, borrowed my sons when I need to haul something and I would miss the 30+ mpg of my current DD, a '05 Scion XB (great little car). Although, after "stirring the box" for 40 years, I am liking the automatic in the truck.

*****OH, if you guys have some recommendations for *NO LIFT* leaf springs that aren't going to sag after a week please let me know. Thanks*****

Anyhow, here are a couple of pics of the truck.
