    Hello Tacoma owners,

Proud owner here of a 2015 Tacoma Off-road DCSB with the Magnetic Gray Metallic paint! Purchased in Feb 2017 with about 5800 miles, and now with about 6200 miles, the truck is in mint condition and probably will remain a low mileage vehicle.

Glad to be part of this community. I am planning to use the Tacoma as a second vehicle to tow a sailboat and possibly a future small travel trailer OR RTT, haul stuff like any pickup would, drive in bad weather (snow) and to get to my camping property in rural WV. I'll commute with it every so often to keep it moving.

I'm light on modifications as of yet, but working on a grand plan and researching the best products. So far I have had the windows tinted, installed Hellwig 980 Add a Leafs, debadged it, polished and waxed (finishing that up now) and a false floor in the center storage cubby for a firearm (not quite done yet, but almost). I have about a dozen other somewhat minor mods in consideration as well. Also the RTT vs. small travel trailer decision.

The next thing I want to do is to install a larger tranny cooler and check the tranny fluid level since I'm pretty paranoid that it's too low based on findings from you all. Man, I miss that dipstick!!!

Thanks for a great forum guys. Looking forward to participating!

Thanks for the welcome. I forgot about the DIY hitch mounted extension for carrying longer stuff. Hauled several 4x8's and 16' boards with this. I just used two oak boards across the bed cut to fit the angled grooves in the bed for forward supports, then used four 1/2" plywood pieces cut to a curved pattern to match the height of the forward boards. These were epoxied together to form the "hitch arm" and oak boards and supports for the aft crossbeam. That black piece at the bottom is some thin CF sheet to make the fit nice and tight.

I made the arm pattern on the computer and tested a few patterns to obtain the right spacing/height the first time. With that said, it could be longer...

OK, I see that photobucket has changed their policy and is now charging $400 annually to allow 3rd party pics.
Explains why I suddenly can't see many pics on this site any longer as well.

What a crock. They should be ashamed of themselves. Any suggestions for a good free image hosting site?
