Hey guys, I am currently an owner of a 2003 Dodge Ram and just cant afford the gas. I really love the look of the newer Tacomas and I know they get good get mileage for a truck. I gotta a few questions before I do purchase one if you guys could help me out. I want an 05+ quadcab 4x4 with leather seats. What would this kinda package be called and how much am I looking at new or used? I am also planning on doing a 6" lift. What kinda gas mileage do you guys get for those of you with 33+ tires? Sorry if I am a pain but I just want to get some good facts before I head over to the stealership. I cant wait to start modding with you guys as I have done on my previous dodge forum.
    Thanks,
    Chris

You'll be better off going new as opposed to used. Because of the high resale a used one won't save you much $. Currently leather is a dealer installed option, it's not available from the factory and it's gonna cost you a couple xtra G's. Not sure on the gas mileage with lift, etc... on the newer trucks, but somebody here will. The Tacoma is a great truck. You won't be dissappointed.

Hey Chris,welcome....As far as the model that you've mentioned,Toyota calls the quadcab a Double cab. It's available in a few different trim levels...sr5,Trd.....Leather was not an available option in '05 but can be retro-fitted... actually is still only a dealer installed option or aftermarket mod....Price wise,I'm in Canada and the US members can help you better with pricing. My truck isn't lifted and has only slightly larger tires....You'll get lots of info here and I'm pretty sure you'll love the Tacoma.I'm ex full size domestic and haven't looked back.

The TRD Sport has different seats than the TRD Offroad.
