    Hi fellas,

    Am an older fella (65) looking for what may be my last vehicle. Have a 1998 Grand Cherokee with a tow package that is starting to go away and does not get very good gas mileage.

    Am looking at the 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Access Cab as a possible. Certainly the Tacoma has a good reputation though I do wish that the HiLux with the Japanese turbo diesel engine were available here. They make GREAT hunting vehicles!

    The only thing I tow is a light trailer loaded with an ATV. And I have other go very fast vehicles so am not looking for high performance from this purchase ... just practical!

    Is the 4 banger w a 5 speed going to be adequate for occasional towing in this class? (I can't see buying a V6 and losing 5 mpg all year for the occasional ATV tow.)
