    Hello,
    I have a 98 tacoma with 107k mi. went out this morning to start, I noticed it idling a little irregular, after it had warmed up, I also thought the valves seemed a little more noisy than normal. So I went and bought a bottle of Lucas valves, injectors cleaner to put in with a gas refill. Coming back from the gas station, the truck started making this knocking sound, so I pulled over, lifted the hood, it sounded like it was coming from on top of the motor (inside).
    Any Idea's what going on?

    Thanks guys,
    18 years and second toyota, this is the first real problem that I have had.
    I guess that is why I love these trucks so much.
    Well I found the problem, now trying to figure out why it happened and how to proceed.

    The electrode broke off the end of one of the spark plugs, and is now somewhere in the valve box, any ideas why these might of happened?
