Hello guys I am a new member and would like to introduce myself,

I am looking into buying a new Tacoma regular cab. My dad told me he would pay for half of the truck to help out, so I'm probably going for a 5 speed manual regular cab basic Tacoma. After buying the truck i would probably throw on a lift, rims, tires, front skid plate, tinted windows and tails, sound system, and maybe a few other basic things. I am not worried about the engine at this point or heavy duty offroading i just want to have some fun and have a beautiful car also. I would aim to have a similar look as this awesome truck http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=246221.
I was wondering if these mods i have listed are feasible with 4-5k and how you guys think the truck would look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    thanks,
    brian

That truck looks good, but i am planning on buying new because i can catch a great deal on a 09 regular cab (manual) at my local dealer and i want it to be my project car where i will continually add on to it.. i was just wondering mainly where 4-5k will get me in modifacations.

    thanks

You should be just fine with 5K. ;) Just make sure not to use it all up with the tires and rims. :p
