I'm driving an '04 F-150 Lariat now and need to trade it in as it has 100,000 miles and is killing me on gas with it's 5.4L. I'm looking at getting a double cab Tacoma with the long bed and need to know how the support of the seats are. I had an '88 and a '91 Toy and the seats were just light foam covering a plank of wood or so it felt. Are the seats in '08 Tacoma's good? I ask because I suffer from lower back problems. Thanks. :)

hmmmm...I think you will need to go test them out. I've heard the TRD seats are more supportive than the standard seats. I would like to see a better seat design for my festively plump ass. The seats have improved since the '91 version, but they are definitely not as soft as the Chevy trucks I've been in. It is the price you pay for going with a mid-sized truck.
