Me too this thing is fats compared to my iPhone 2g.

Too bad this happend to me.....

Well I revived my 3Gs today and I go to the apple store to get it activated because my computer crapped out. I leave the store and my son asked if he could hold the bag so I let him we walk into foot locker and I bought him a pair of Jordan's and we are leaving the store and he says I put your bag outside. I rush out side there was no apple bag in sight luckly my iPhone 3gs was in my pocket with my 2g but im out every thing that was in the box and a new screen protecter: -( oh well it was my bad for leting my 5 year hold my precious iPhone gear.

+1, I think he does not have solid back up.

Congrats! How do you like it?

Gotta be careful man. If I run across an extra wall USB plug, cable, and headphones, I'll PM ya

BTW, iPhone 3G S is the best cellular phone on the market hands down. I have been with Windows Mobile(Moto Q9m), Blackberry (Curve), iPhone (1st Gen), back to Blackberry (Storm), iPhone 3G, and could only find my happy spot with the 3G S.

I seem to be having trouble getting mine to work on my wireless network at home. It discovers the network, I put in the password, and it connects to it, but the phone doesn't seem to be able to do anything online unless I turn the wi-fi off. Anybody have any suggestions?

For iPhone only. Not sure if there is a work around for other phone models.

There are a couple of theads about it on that site. Not sure if the work around is for Mac's only or not. I'm not willing to attempt the MMS hack due to most everyone I know has an iPhone and when we want to send pics etc, we just email. To be honest, I think MMS is useless now that 99% of cell phones have email capabilities. To each their own I guess...

I would still love to have MMS so I can send to phones that do not support e-mail.

much easier to snap a picture of something and just text it instead of opening up email, attaching, etc.

Actually, on a smart phone, it is almost the same process.

    1. Take picture
    2. Press menu/options
    3. Send to MMS or e-mail
    4. Type in recipient
    5. Send

funny enough, i had to take some pictures at work today and send them to the boss. first time doing it with the iphone, man it was easy. only issue with emailing is not everyone has a smart phone and don't get email to it.
