I see you also are a pro VF tuner. Can you confirm if there's a flash tune available for the 2017 Lexus GX460?

 

VFTuner does have a tune pack available for the GX460 4.6L through model year 2019 https://vftuner.com/collections/tune-packs/products/gx460-tune-pack. Keep in mind that these are base maps and are not custom tunes like the KDMax Pro tunes for Tacoma and 4Runner.

 

Yes, i saw that on the site. I reached out to another tuner and he mentioned needing to check the calibration ID. I'll have to poke around and see if anyone else has offered a custom tune.

 

For those of you with the 2.7L 4 cyl engine, we likely have a tune for you too. Tuned a 2020 2.7L SR A/T over the weekend with the KDMax Pro+XT-L tune. Great results, client was happy. DM to make sure your model year 2.7L and trans type are supported.

 

Had another happy customer make the trip up from West Palm Beach yesterday with his 2020 TRD OR 4x4. Unfortunately it was pouring rain so I couldn't get a picture of the truck. We updated his ECU with the latest TSB and then flashed a KDMax Pro+XT tune with a normal throttle setting. Gabe and his girlfriend were great people to meet and they were happy with the results. They are heading out for a road trip to Texas today with their newly tuned truck. Thanks Gabe!

As VFTuner software capabilities have been improved and upgraded, we were able leverage those upgrades to improve our tune.
We have tested our latest update in our group and ready to release it. It is stronger and smoother, with improved drivability.
The update is free for all current KDMax-Pro+XT users. If you are on an older KDMax Pro tune version there will be an upgrade fee.

The KDMax-Pro-9.0 is an improved version of the KDMax-Pro+XT:

- Throttle is smoother
- Shifting was adjusted to keep the truck in the power band and improve MPGs
- Torque maps were optimized to keep power throughout, especially on the low end
- Cruise Control was optimized for better shifting on the highway

First KDMax Pro 9.0 tune for a 2023 was done by one of our tuners this afternoon on a 2023 TRD Sport with only 21 miles on the odometer. Stock tune is still flat, but the KDMax Pro 9.0 made it the truck it should be.
