Guys, my 08 will be going to the shop in the morning for upgrades listed below. I want my truck to be level so what should I tell them to set the front 5100's on. Front a little higher want hurt but I don't want much rack.

1 1/2" Lift rear add-a-leaf for Tacoma with rear TSB springs

    5100's for the front.

    Thanks

If you have the TSB springs and added the 1.5 AAL then you will need to set at 2.5. You will still have a little rake.

I would also reccommend the 5100's in the back for better dampening...

I have 5100s with 1.5 AAL and set on 2.5. I have 1.25 higher in back so just barely tail high. That is using the 3 leaf crap pack not the 4 leaf TSB leaf pack. If you have 4 leafs already then it will probably end up higher, like 2" higher in back. Here's a side view.....

    I would do 1.75 or 2.5 then...

Everything is stock now. Trying to get level and also I got the spring because I tow a boat and its sets real low when towing. What's it going to take to make it level when I install the rear leaf???

One thing tho...at 2.5 you will be low on caster and will have the twitchy wandering feeling on grooves and on uneven pavement. I went with LR UCAs to get caster back to 2.5 where it feels very solid. This will not wear the tires but is annoying. Camber and toe being out is what wears the tires. It's doable long enough to save up and get the 450.00 UCAs and very worth it IMO. They are very beefy compared to oem and have better more rugged upper ball joints. They also have additional adjustability for camber and caster. Here's a pic........
