New Member - be kind!

I am a new member who owns a 2007 Tacoma, SR5 Prerunner, Double cab, short bed in Brilliant Red. I have an automatic transmission with the tow package, roof racks and a cloth interior.

I have added an Extang trifold cover, Nasta bars and a Magnet bra to the truck since buying it new. I also have a Garmin 660 GPS that I have mounted on the middle of the cup holders forward of the shifter. I do a little kayaking, so I built a rear support for my kayak that fits into the tow hitch reciever and supports the rear of the kayak while it sits on the roof rack.

I am looking in to upgrading the factory radio with a head unit that would have HD radio capabilities, support Mp3 on a CD and have either a jack for my mp3 player or a USB/SD slot.

I am a little concerned with trim kit that is supplied with the radio through Crutchfield so after looking around on the net I found one that looks a little better at TAco Tunes.

Any suggestions on either the Head Unit or trim?

Several people here have used Taco Tunes parts and seem happy with them. The crutchfield "free" pieces have had mixed reviews.

 

Thanks - I may try to look at one at the local Best Buy. I understand they sell the kits there.
