Well, worked a deal (I hope a good one) for a new to me 05' Tacoma Access Cab V6 4wd 6spd. Really nice truck for being 6 years old and 57K. Truck actually rides better than the 11' double cab Taco I test drove this morning. It looks like it has been meticulusly maintained and all the service (and even some TSBs) have been done at our local Toyo dealer. My last Toyota pick-up was my first vehicle (85' SR5 Reg Cab 4wd) I hope this one holds up as well as that one!

welcome to TW!!! i have the same truck but quad cab and i love it. my only word of advice is to warm it up on those cold mornings otherwise your first gear will be difficult to engage.

Thanks for the advice. I bought it for the winter driving so I will make sure to heed that warning. I'd hate to wake the neighbors with grinding metal.

Try to keep it out of the river. LOL...I think that is the first place I always took my 4wd's. Good luck with the truck.

Thanks for all the welcomes! Now I have to figure out what to do with this stock truck...I am thinking new all chrome grill , skid plate and HID headlights might be a good start.
