    Hello all,

I recently bought a new Tacoma (magnetic gray 2010 DC/SB 4x4 TRD Offroad), and have been lurking on this site since then.

I had an 04 E55 AMG for the last 6 years, but a change in circumstances (started my own business, got a dog, began spending more time in the outdoors) dictated that a truck would better suit my purposes.

I like this truck a lot in stock form (the only things I miss about the E55 are the ungodly acceleration and the sound quality of the stereo system) but already have the urge to increase the performance (supercharger), amenities (better speakers), and offroad/hurricane season capability (suspension mods, front/rear/side hardware, winch).

Looking forward to participating in this forum.

    Ben

Welcome to TW. I love those AMG's. You better put on 2 superchargers to give you the thrill of the AMG. Eventhe BMW M series IMO can't compare to the Mercedes AMG.

LOL...yeah, 517 lbs/ft of tq bone stock sets the bar pretty high. I don't need that sort of power anymore, but would like to have a bit more grunt off the line, and I think the TRD s/c, and maybe some mild tuning and exhaust mods will be just about right. ;)
