New member from SoCal and new truck owner.

Hello everyone,
New to TW and a new truck owner purchased my truck 2 weeks ago. Always loved trucks grew up going camping in some awesome trails In Yosemite. I purchased a used 1999 Tacoma prerunner, I found a good deal and decided to go for it even though it wasn't 4x4. Reason for that the wife and I will eventually purchase a 4Runner later down the line. Anyways I was watching meeting of there are any truck meets kinda wanted help modding my truck. Engine wise and maybe installing a diff lock.

Yeah I did. Funny story. As I was looking for a 1st gen truck. I was already building a wish list of parts to add on. When I came across this one. I checked the weld jobs and everything. Not exactly what was on my wish list but damn close.

 

Good looking truck thats for sure! I'm still waiting on a buddy to loosen his grip on his 4x4 first gen (its never been off-road and has been pampered it's whole life). Finding a first gen in good shape that hasn't been beat to hell is getting really hard these days.

 

Oh man I bought the car fax online looked up the truck checked this truck up and down the guy was a car enthusiast build the truck but didn't run it off road. Tires were new truck wa a solid man. I actually joined TW mainly to find people who could direct me to the right trails. I will later buy a 2015 4Runner and start my new build off of that but for now I wanna get into it with what I have
