A co worker has a 2010 sr5 V6 4x4 DCSB that go back in november. Lease buyout is 18k. Will have about 32000 miles when he returns it. This will be my first Toyota p/u. Always owned American trucks. Truck has had only had oil and filters for service. He just put two new front tires on it ( dunlops wore out quickly) Good deal or not? Thanks.

What will it have left for warranty, just the 3 yr 36k mile or did he get the extended warranty? Still, not a bad deal but if you can get the extended warranty, that'd be kinda cool.

What is a lease buyout? Will you own the truck or will you also be leasing it? Never understood how leasing a vehicle went. Doesn't sound like a terrible deal, but I would deff look into the warranty part of it. My first was the exact same thing, but with 44k plus on it, and i paid more than 18k.

A lease buy out is when you buy the truck from Toyota. You own it. What ever warranty that it had from new goes along with the truck. 3/36....5/50 power-train.

Since you'd be buying it at a good price and it'd still be in warranty, it might not be a bad idea to buy the extended warranty with it. Just a suggestion but I kinda wish I had it about now...

I'd say good deal. '05 and '06 models with 100k on them sell for 17-20k here.

For comparison, I just purchased the exact same truck but with 51,000 miles for $24,999 from CarMax, and no warranty. That's for Southern California though.

    I'd jump on that!

If you buy it, make sure to get the rear spring and blower motor TSBs done right away while it's still under the 36k miles (if it hasn't done them already).
