    Hey ya'll

Just bought a '07 silver TRD Sport access cab Taco. I've been wanting one of these for about a year now. I think they look great. I traded in my 2001 triple black Corvette convertible for one (can u believe that?).

Anyway, it has 35,600 miles on it and I still have an option to get an extended warranty (6yrs/72,000 addl mi.) for $1582. Money is a little tight right now. My question is, should I get the warranty? How well do these "Tacos" hold up? What are some "common" problems? I need to decide before I reach 36,000 miles. I'm getting very close. I'd like to save the $, but I definitely don't want to pay MORE later!

What would YOU do??? What should I do???

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

I'd get the rear TSB leaf spring replacement from the dealer before you turn 36,000.

    BTW, welcome from Phoenix.

Check out this thread before you fire off and purchase that warranty. You might be able to save your self a few bucks!

EDIT: I purchased the extended warranty for my truck at the time of purchase (new). I would much rather have the security of knowing if something does go drasticly wrong, It isnt going to hit me like a brick wall. With that said, these trucks are pretty darn reliable so I dont intend on having to use it.

Is it worth it? I'd say so, but I guess you'll have to decided that for your self.

It's not a recal but an upgrade (extra leaf in leaf pack). I don't plan on getting the extended warranty- it's a Toyota after all. :)
