Lots of options for tires. Do you want an all terrain which is quiter, longer lasting, or a mud terrain for more traction off road at the expense of noise and miles?

    All terrains:

    BF Goodrich K02
    Falken Wildpeak AT3W
    Nitto Terragrappler
Toyo Open Country ATII or ATIII

    Mud terrains:

    Toyo MT
    BF Goodrick KM3
    Falken MT01
    Nitto Mud Grappler

Stick with the stock headlights. They have better output than most aftermarket. If you want a different style try Morimoto LED's or maybe OEM LEDs.

Side steps maybe someone else can chime is as I don't know much about these.

I am sure others will bring up other options too.

    Welcome to the forum:hattip:

You will find lots of great info here. You will also find info that baffles the mindo_O

There are lots of choices and opinions on tires, headlamps and side steps. A little more info on planned usage will help narrow choices.

Thank you! I was looking into nitto A/T tires, maybe 265/75r16 and I wanted to swap out the stock headlights for a different style. I'm wondering if the bigger tire would rub? Anyone has this issue? Any lifts?

265/75/r16 should fit a stock tacoma with no lift. I am looking going to this size when I need new tires.

I have these great looking tires. Way more aggressive than stock, and very quiet on the road.

Don’t let the weirdos scare you. There’s a lot of good weirdos on this site that are actually helpful. A lot of reading will get you inspired to spend money. Local meets (once this nonsense is over) will let you see trucks in person and talk to the owners about what works for them and what doesn’t.

    welcome aboard.

Most likely my next tire. If this is mostly a daily driver make sure to get the C load rating instead of the E rated (they make both in 265/75/16). The E rated are great for offroad but they are heavier and may do wear down components a little quicker because of the extra weight. I had E rated 33" toyo MT's on my jeep and I started to go through u joints quick.

I got the lighter ones, which was a factor in me picking out tires. About 40 lbs.

Yeah it seems like most "aggressive" 265/75 tires seem to be E rated only. I like having the options that the Goodyear has.

    Welcome to TW.

I kept the stock headlights and had them retrofitted by @no vtec 4me

    He did a killer job.

I had steps but recently upgraded to sliders by @SOS CONCEPTS and absolutely love them.

The headlights came out good! Does @no vtec 4me have a website for the headlight retrofit service?

You might have gotten the individual ideas from here, but I doubt you implemented those ideas in the same combination as other members ;) Close enough.

BTW sweet rig dude. Really dig the blue

Thanks man. I wanted to be a little different. Seems like everyone in my hometown drives a MGM Tacoma. The blue bumper helps people recognize me lol
