    stay away from the south valley and snob hill/downtown.

    Corrales is VERY nice but $$ nowadays (that's where I'm from).

    North valley is pretty nice once you get north of Osuna.

    Stick with the Northeast heights area, relatively cheap if you stay away from the foothills and very nice.

    the west side is also okay.

    I've been there once, the gun guys were very professional, the one I dealt with was older and really knew his stuff.

    Ammo is very hard to come by still... My good friend from az is a manager for Sportsmens and has spent some time out here, he said that he likes that location.

    Noice! Did you have to cut a channel in the rail cap or did it slip under just fine?

    You got me thinking of going the same way but with this mount:

    Countersink the screws and I think it'll fit underneath the tonneau cover.

    Hmmm, won't work with the tonneau cover on but would be a clean, temporary solution until I figure the permanent solution. Very nice!

    You should get one that ties into your tailgate latch bolts. Not sure who makes them, but it would work with your tonneau cover.
