Ya the main road is really straight forward and depending what you do you can come out in Cuba, youngsville, Coyote or Abiquiu. And there are so many side roads/ logging roads. The main road is usually maintained but some of the side roads are a little rough/ rocky/ muddy but nothing a stock truck can't handle.

 

Gian, changing the oil in the transfer case is almost as easy as changing the oil in the rear diff. Just need a socket and take the drain plug off and put oil in the fill plug, after putting the drain plug back in of course

It's on the side and it's located so that you can't overfill it. just pump oil in till it starts to run out of the fill hole.

maybe for 2nd gen but mine is on the back of the case just a little above the drain. BTW both my plugs are in the back. Only two large hex on the back of the case.

 

ill check it out in the FSM and see what it says

 

There layout is the same. Saying it's on the side, I was just saying that it was not on the top...

I saw Kyle at the gym.

 

I'm wrenching starting on Friday a little after lunch and possibly bleeding into Saturday. On the list:

1. Install 1/2" Top Plate Spacers
2. Cut Down and Install Skid Plate
3. Install Amp
4. Install Switch Panels in Dash

Anyone want to stop by and help, shoot the breeze or needs help with their own project, more than welcome.

A long haul to have your rear diff looked at but I'll be here.

 

Haha I know. I was just messing. Need to install my cb and get it tuned also.

 

If I knew the next time I'd be in Alamogordo, I'd pack my tools in the truck.
