Soo question and may need help. Every time I accelerate there is a popping noise coming from the back of my truck. It almost sounds like something in my bed is hitting the plastic on my tailgate. Could it be my rear dif? Something with my lift?

I got the whole setup from the folks at CBI Offroad. The gas cans are the Rotopax 2 gallon cans. I know 4 gallons doesn't seem like much, but definitely enough for my needs. If I want, I can stack another can on each side with the use of a Rotopax mount adapter. I also went with the locks for the cans since people like to steal just about anything around here.

Unsure. I'd try draining the diff fluid and seeing if it looks ugly or if there's bits and pieces in it.

The 3rd is fairly easy to pull, just need some jack stands and a set of metric sockets and maybe a brake bleeder kit (there are ways around pulling the brake lines though.)

My only other inclination is carrier bearings or pinion bearings. Or maybe check the drive shaft bolts for torque. One thing to check is the FSM for symptoms/troubleshooting.

    Yeah............. :(

    For sure.

Yeah. Depending on what the shop says today I might just take care of it myself.

isn't 05-06 the years that our trucks had potential motor mount failures?
