Welcome back. Keep an eye on this one for the b.s., mod days, etc. Keep an eye on this thread for the upcoming runs:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nm-adventure-series.273873/page-45

Saw your post early this morning and thought about joining, but the family and I ended up doing our Christmas tree run today up in the Jemez.

You have seen the "adventure series" thread, right? I'd enjoy seeing you join the group/run sometime so I can check out your rig.

Seen it but for some reason it's not subbed. That reminded me. Love to meet up and do some trails. Need to get my bypasses set up in the front and I'll be good to go!

Welcome back Wing and thanks for your service. I'm in Paradise across the arroyo from you. My taco is out of commission for the moment due to a wreck. I'm always down to go wheeling and wrenching. I work for beer and grub :) I'm no expert mechanic but I sure can turn a wrench.

I have a Pelfrey full hoop bumper on order that should be here Feb with a winch.
    ........

    Welcome 575TRD.

Mine should be here in Feb too (along with a rear high-clearance with swing-out). I got the no-hoop option on the front though, I'm not a fan of the look.

I like having something to grab onto I'm the mud and slippery slopes. I was looking at the ARB then came across Pelfrey. I like buying from the little guy.

Can't get a rear just yet and still not sure what I want. I learned to not settle with my last vehicle. Do it right once.
I would like to check out yours once you get it. I would be glad to help you with the install.

Yeah that was my main line of thought for the hoops, something to lean against or hold onto, or tie on tree savers. But I really don't like the way they look. I'd like to see yours once it gets mounted, maybe it'll change my mind about it, but I still won't order a new bumper. I do like the way the ARB looks too, it's just too damned big. It sticks out like 8 inches further than the stock bumper, if not more.

I looked at a lot of options, and I want to be able to overland and camp out of the truck without a trailer. So I need a place for everything, and the swing out is a great place for the tire and fuel. Prinsu roof racks are in my future too.

I'll gladly accept all the help I can get with the bumper, bitch is gonna be heavy lol.

I've been considering the CBI bed Rack for the overland notion. I do want to eventually get a RTT at some point as well.

I'm rolling the idea of a RTT around in my head. I thought I would just sleep in the bed under a camper shell (which is also in the near future... my wallet hates me), but I'm just shy of 6' and sleeping in a 5.5' bed sounds less cool every time I think about it.

I was thinking about 6.5 obo. With everything into it that is about as low as I could go and come close to breaking even. RTT, slide out grill, 26 gal water tank, showerhead, and other misc goodies.
