So I removed the stock Wranglers at 18 miles on the odometer for KM3s. I want to sell them. You think Craigslist?

for any second gen guys wanting to get crazy light out of their backup lights and not spend $90 for the diode dynamics ones, i just found this thread... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ght-upgrade-vs-high-power-leds.474996/page-26

the bulbs are relatively hard to find but they are available right now, and one of the guys at the end of the thread posted a 10% discount code (MOBILE10) and that shit still works!

Planning a mod day this Saturday the 20th in Alamogordo, New Mexico if anybody’s interested. I plan to work on my rear suspension and anybody is welcome to come help, work on their own mods, or just hang out and talk trucks.

I'd be down to meet up and lend a hand. Don't think I have any wrenching to do. Maybe take a look at the driveshaft and rotors to diagnose dreaded vibrations.

Sweet, I’ll PM you the address. I plan to get started around 9am. I’ve been lucky that I haven’t gotten some vibrations from my driveshaft after hitting it on some rocks.

What’s up Silver City, haven’t been down there in 15 years at least. Grandparents live in Deming.

I'm sure not much has changed. I have grandparents in Deming too. We do have harbor freight now, as if that's a milestone haha

There’s gotta be some good trails. I remember grandpa taking us on a picnic out there one time and it was off the beaten path.

It’s been a couple years since I was down there last but I spent a lot of time down there when I was younger. My dad grew up in Central and went to Cobre then Western.

We gotta do a wheeling meet soon and hit the La Bajada trail. It was the original route from abq to Santa Fe and was even part of the Camino Real if you like historical places. Great views and not too difficult but I remember going a few years back and two parts were starting to get pretty rutted out, don’t remember if there were cheater trails there though.

Then we can check out that big sinkhole in the area, goes maybe 200ft down

Edit: forgot to post link https://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/el_camino_real_de_tierra_adentro/la_bajada_mesa.html

I assume any of that road on the Cochiti lands is no go?

Last time I was out at the Caja del Rio, I found a little bit of proper wheeling and I know @smw62891 knows that area real well. I’m game.

There’s a mess of roads out there

Buckman road or whatever that leads into Diablo is washboard so bad it’ll rattle your teeth (and every bit of your truck) if you go over like 5mph lol

Air down those tires and hit it at like 40mph. Smooths those washboards right out :bikewhoops:
