    4wheel = $ leeches

    i know ive heard about some of the pricing ways but its pretty much the same price where ive checked online, i might just go with a local place like desert rat, or trucks unique but install might be $$

    35's talk about sucking the $ out of gas, i think ill stick with 33's for now especially since it will be a daily if i sell my car :eek:

    OMG you guys talk so damn much.!!!!

    Anthony -- thanks for the PM.

    I'm lookin right now at getting the OME kit with 886's. its like 700, the billies are like 350 or so -- I'll want springs eventually too, and I think the OME will probably be a bit better in the long run as far as durability, so I might just dive into that, considering after springs, its really only gonna be about 250 bucks more..

    What is the offset of the offroad taco wheels? Less than 15? What is offset measured in, inches?

    I'd love to see some people show up here. Chokecherry is similar to Rio Puerco in many ways except it has tons of sandstone intermingled that you can play on.

    The Jemez/Cuba area is pretty easy for everyone to get to. I don't know the trails very well around there. I've just driven a few of the main fire roads and stuff on hunting trips.

    25.4 mm = 1 inch. 15mm is about 5/8". Off set is the distance of the centerline of the rim to the face that mounts to the hub. 0 offset has the face centered. Depending on whether the face is closer to the outside or inside of the wheel, you get positive or negative offset. I can't remember which is which though.

    Most people on the sight speak of back spacing. The Off Road wheels have 5.5" of backspacing. That's the distance from the inner rim lip to the same face as mentioned above. Lower offset sticks your rims out farther.

    Dude, bummer the Puerco thread got mod'ed. I was literally laughing my ass off. What we should do, instead of closing it, just rename it: New Mexico Civil War.... At least then we can keep the NM owners friendly. We'll just have a yin and and a yang..

    Dom, the youngest guy here.

    Yet the most civil.
    Yet mature enough to avoid a pissing contest.
    Yet the most organized and capable of putting together a successful meet.
    Yet the one with the ability to get a "thread in flames" locked.

    A true gentleman.

    Let's kick his ass too.:wink:
