If you look at the picture, in back he has two leaf springs stacked on top of each other. The top one is upside down and it forms an elliptical shape. Typically leaves only offer a few inches of flex. A buggy leaf basically doubles the amount of suspension travel.

It's usually done on off road only vehicles. There is so much soft flex that they usually aren't considered safe on the street.

5 stars for SPRING BREAK!!! Wouldn't he get the same flex with revolver shackles, without the worry or insane body roll. I know shackles would have the same, but at least you could run sway bar disconnects.

Revolver shackles would essentially do the same thing when it comes to travel but I don't know much about them so I can't say if there is less body roll or anything. I bet they're more expensive though. You can find extra leaves easily for cheap or free. I honestly don't know all of the pros and cons of each system.
The stage 2 is $1000 more than a stage 1 and all you get is coils and shocks? I'd think you could get just as good if not better coilovers and rear shocks for the same amount of money. You could even do OME, which everybody loves, is well respected, and save like $500.

I can't see anything on your light pictures. Too bright.:)

iv used revolver shackles the buggy leaf actualy lets it articulate more by letting both the leaf pack shackle and buggy leaf twist around less stress on the leaf pack revolvers twist but still bined when rotation happens

hahahah i did it. not too bad on the road. and this is my daily driver lol. doesnt sway anymore than it did before but i dont drive crazy on the street. so i wouldnt know if it would roll over takeing a corner at 45mph. but im sure it would if i flipped it over without a buggy leaf doing a powerslide on wet grass in a park at midnight lol

This weekend is the start of my spring break and I would love to drive down but my wife is out of town and I'm going to have the kids.
That's what I suggested too in a pm. For $1000, I think you can get much better coils and shocks than Pro Comp.

I even suggested something like 5100's or ome up front with low or no lift and a custom 4" Alcan or Deaver leaf pack in back. That would cost about the same amount. I think it would be pretty sweet too.

Stuff is on CL, too. Sell it for me at your price and keep the difference. Sh!t, sell it for me at any reasonable price, and we'll work something out!

I've also gotta stock JBL H/U about to be for sale, as soon as I can upload the pictures.
