    As long as I don't have to buy presents for anyone. We have enough Hallmark holidays. 9/11 and Pearl Harbor deserve National holiday recognition IMO.

    Although I personally recognize these 2 dates as ones to never forget, I do not feel they should be "celebrated" as national holidays. I think that Americans should simply pay their respects to those lost, in their own way. I personally fly the flag on these days (and most national holidays).

    Also, IMO, naming 9/11 as a national holiday would give those responsible way too much satisfaction.
