So i installed ome 885s last weekend on 5100s and didnt get as much lift as i was hoping for. Hub to fender is 22" on passenger side and 21.25" on drivers with 1/4" spacer on drivers. From reading on here most guys seem to be closer to 23". Could this be an issue with the spring and try to warranty them or just try 886s.

I have stock bumper, this height is right after i installed and drove around the block.

I did forget to measure before i started but the height is similar to what i had with my 5100s set at 1.75.

    Truck is DCLB.

Also did dakar el095r in rear and am at 24" in rear.

Just measured again after driving it for a bit. Both sides have settled to 21"

Parked on level ground, wheels straight. Centre of hub to fender

I'm getting 887s and was told I would get 3 inch of lift. Yours as settled a lot. What is expected out of the 885xs?

I got 2” out of mine but they were used and had already sagged. It sounds like you got a bad or wrong set.

I just swapped back to stock but set 5100s at 2.5 and got 22"pass and 21 3/4" drivers side. Maybe my truck is a bit heavier than normal for some reason?

Not sure. Scheduled for tires and alignment next friday so may order 887s and put them on with small spacers before then.

Unless anyone can think of another issue...

I have also noticed since putting in my 885s and UCAs, i get a clunk when going over small bumps around 50-80 km/h (30-50mph ish). Nothing going over a curb but small stuff like potholes and manhole covers.

I’m in the same boat you are. I did the rear last night and front this morning. I got done, went for a drive and came home and measured. Passenger side is 21.5 and driver side is 21.25. I measured the front after I had done the rear and it was right at 20 before I put the 885’s in.

Good to know im not the only one atleast. Im gonna leave my 5100s at 2.5 for now. Getting an alignment and tires on friday so gonna live with it for a month or so. Might go 6112s with 650lb springs or maybe fox 2.5s

Also figured out my clunk too. Sway bar links were bad. Took it out and the clunk is gone.

I just sent ARB an email and hope to hear back from them. I suspect some springs may have been labeled wrong.

I emailed arb monday, they said to remove and measure the springs. They are the correct length so im out of luck

I’ll assume the same for me. I’m not interested in removing the springs just to measure them, so I’ll just find different springs that hopefully work as advertised.
