jdw3rd - Had 248,726 ( all mine ) on my 1998 Chevy PU when the steering box went :-( Couldn't afford to stay with Chevy so Toyota won out. *Wife* did her homework on-line and we bought a new 2013 standard cab 4x4 Tacoma 4 cyl. manual. Had a class III tow hitch installed by the dealer and bought an aftermarket tri-fold bed cover. This truck looks nice: stands up high - not squat like some"small" trucks. Interior is basic but nice: I'm 6' 1" and have enough room to be comfortable. Surprised at the bit of room behind the seat - enough for some extra gear ( jumper cables, 1st aid kit, cig' lighter air pump, etc. etc. ). Wish there were intermittent wipers and a key-lock on the tailgate but other than that no complaints. This is my first 4x4 - took it out along the beach with NP at all: washed the undercarriage with my power washer when I got home :)

Nice truck: hope it lives up to the Toyota reputation for holding it's value and living a long life: if I get 250,000 out of it I'll be as happy as I was with my ol' Chevy!
