What's up TW! I picked this up a couple of days ago and couldn't be happier. I had an 02 Prerunner that I LOVED years ago. However the wife talked me into selling it somehow and I have always regretted it. Well now i'm back in a Tacoma and will keep this for a LONG time.

Thanks to TW... I've got a few accessories/addons ordered for her already LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome! Quick question: for those of you with aftermarket wheels/tires - do you hang on to your stock wheel/tires or sell them off? I'm eyeing the AR Mojaves. I didn't know if the stocks are worth selling. If they don't fetch much may as well keep 'em for spares.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I recently upgraded to Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmors and never regretted it, those stock Dunlops suck, unless you plan to stay on pavement I would get rid of them! I am trying to sell my old tires because I need the money, but they should sell fast, tires always do sell well in Montana for some reason! Good looking Taco btw, it should give you years of reliable, and fun enjoyment!

Man this forum is really bad on the wallet. I spend at least an hour a day browsing TW looking for little "add ons" for the Taco and it is never-ending. There are some VERY nice trucks on here.

Anyway, just wanted to give you all an update on how my rig looks today...

The day after I picked her up...

    Im getting there......
I would keep your stock wheels unless your strapped for cash they will be useful eventually or they will fetch equal resale value down the road......what black wheels did you settle with....cant tell from the pic

I just bought a NEW 2011 Tacoma double cab 4X4 double cab with the tow package and the SR5 Option in silver color.

I need to put step bars on the sides so Mama can get up and in it. I am also wanting to put a front bumper guard on also.

Does anyone have any experience with Avid Off Road? I am thinking about getting their front Bumper and sliders or step bars. Are they as good as they say? I would have to wait about 5 weeks.

Any better suggestions? I know I can get cheeper, but I only want to cry once.
