You're not stealing anything, and I do appreciate the heads up on that website. The item I'm working isn't available on their site, but could be used in conjunction with a good amount of their product.

On another subject, what is the go to hi-lift mount that everyone is using right now? I know there are all kinds of options, just wanted to know if one stood out from the rest.

That is the mount I'm considering for this project. No need to reinvent the wheel when you can buy it on Amazon for $30.00.

I have the 4xrac- just installed it last weekend. Works great. No rattles or movement of the jack and I have the heavy 60".

I have a question for everyone. I am considering bringing a longer version of the soft shackle to market and need to know what length everyone thinks is best.

I'm leaning towards either a 15 or 20 foot version. These are relatively light weight and much more flexible than your standard strap.

The new straps will have the same load capacity as the soft shackles, which are rated at 5,300lbs for a straight pull and 10,600 lbs when doubled up. You may say that's low, but consider that each shackle has a factor of safety of 5. So the breaking strength is 26,500lbs for a straight pull.

    So what does everyone think?

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I'm pretty happy with the current shackle length. Even when doubling up, worked out well for me.

Good deal. The new option will be a strap, not a shackle, so both products will be available.

Not a very flattering picture, but here are the new 15' Recovery Slings. I'll get some better shots and put them on the website this weekend. 7fa49898ba90ff4d973e3f6be31f2345_13b8a53f3d4598a6721700e3d0d11f025db38f14.jpg

    $75.00

I think I can get them in a padded flat rate envelope, so $6.00 shipping. If not, they'll have to go in a medium flat rate box, so $12.00.

Put the new recovery sling to use while tensioning @greeneggsnspam 's winch line.

Would there be any interest in an introductory price kind of group buy for the new Recovery Slings?
