my sarcasm filter is off today. are you just yanking my chain?

If your truck bottoms out with a light load, then the TSB will fix that. You probably qualify. Bring it in to the dealer and complain and tell them about the TSB. There is a ton of info here. Search for TSB and you'll find a bunch of info on it.

No I looked on here and I called toyota cause I thin k I need the tsb and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. So I just wanted to see about getting a write up on it so I can have more ammo when I go back.

    A few bolts are different.
One step closer to being a recall, hopefully, so it will cover my 05

Oh,this is great. I just called last week about my 08, and they looked up the VIN in their computer and said "no go". When the link to the new tsb gets posted, I'll be marching down there with a copy in my pocket. Can't wait.

I think you have to do the TSB within the 3years 36,000 mile time. If you go to the dealership and complain that the truck rides rough and bottoms out with a small load they will more and likely do it. If they do not call the 1800 number and complain.:D

Just in the nick of time!!! I am up to 3 trips to the dealership, this should end the battle. Now for the question of the day. If I add the front spacer (leveling kit) to the front struts before I take the truck in I wonder if they will add the new parts and I get the alignment for free?

Does anyone know why some trucks need the TSB and some don't? Is it an issue for one of the suppliers? I need to pick up about 500 lbs of dirt this weekend so I'm going to give it a good test.

I'm glad it was extended to include the 08 model.

UGH!!!!! Wish I waited... I ended up doing Wheelers AAL since my 08 didn't qualify for the TSB a few months back. Well I hope my AAL's are just as strong as the TSB new leafs.

My dealer charged me a small fee to re-install my front spacers on the new shocks after the TSB was performed. I think it was like 69.00
