Hi, I'm looking for some direction from experts and, in joining this site, i believe i have found them. Looking for the longest lasting full set of shocks that deliver the smoothest ride for my 05. So far on this odessy, I had one mechanic tell me Bilstein 5100. I had another tell me they are to rough and i need Monroe Reflex or OE Spectrum, and still another tells me Monroe's are weak so before I pull the trigger I thought I'd ask the pros! It's my daily driver on streets and highways but there are a lot of potholes. I don't often carry heavy loads. I am just looking to buy whatever is best and having a mechanic install them so i don't need installation instructions, just your best guess on product and why you think so. Really appreciate your site. Many Thanks

It really depends on how you use your truck. If all you do is highway driving, I'd like something soft and lofty like the OEM SR5 shocks. They comfortable to me but offer little control off road (or even on road.)
5100s are much more responsive, offer more control, but can be interpreted as "rougher" than stock, or Monroe.
