I went with the Sport fogs, and they're plenty bright with my Alpharex Luxx LEDs.

Up to you. I will say the pro "feels" like it puts out more light, because the pattern is larger with more spill above and below the main beam. However, the intensity and sharp cutoff on the max can't be beat. By having a tighter cutoff, I was able to aim the lights higher, so they extended further out in front of the truck. And though it has less width than the pro, the intensity punches all the way out to each edge of the pattern, whereas the pro tapers off as it gets near the edges.

That's awesome to hear you were able to move over your SS3 Pro LED pods from your Crosstrek to your Tacoma with ease!

We're really excited about our Stage Series Reverse Light Kits.

Thanks for the continued support, @armoured !

You aren't kidding, the 3000K selective yellow SS3 LED fog light kit compliments the Army Green exceptionally well.

    Great shot! Thanks for sharing!

I too have an army green and am adding DD yellow fogs this month. Thank you so much for the pic- definitely affirmed my decision. Sidenote- what are your suspension, wheels, and tires?

I bounced back and forth between amber and white and glad I went with the amber. With the LED headlights, things look less harsh with ambers, good choice.

My suspension is stock TRD Off Road at the moment. Still saving my pennies for future upgrades.

    LED Backlight???

Each level (Sport,Pro,Max) makes you select Backlight before you can add it to the cart. But there is no good explanation of what the backlight really is. It seems I had stumbled onto something somewhere (in a video) indicating it was a $20 option. But the only choice when putting Fogs into the cart seems to be 'No' or 'No'.... Nowhere to select 'Yes', and no pictures showing the difference.

Yes. Keep in mind that the photos were taken on different nights and may have different camera settings. Also I didn't capture as much of the light/background in the pro one, sorry it's not as good of a comparison.

I don't think the backlight is available yet, that's probably why the option doesn't show up. It's just an accent light that illuminates the housing to look cool. It doesn't add any useful light the way the main beam does. I have my bumper SSC2 lights wired as extra turn signals.

The listing is currently unavailable and preparing for release.

Our standard SS3 LED pods with backlights will be available for pre-order soon!

Awesome turn signal setup using the backlight from our SSC2 LED pods!

    Thank you for sharing.

In another thread we were discussing how in Europe a lot of cars have an auxiliary red light at the back for foggy/snow/raining conditions to make you more visible. Would be cool if you could do a red backlight instead of white or Amber. I have ss3 sports in my bumper, but would upgrade (yet again) if there was a white with red option

All of their white pod lights (and going forward, including SS3) can option red backlights. I doubt they're strong enough to use as a rear fog light though.
