My 06 Tundra had around 46K miles on it.
Big and bulky hard to back up and see behind you (several dents in tailgate & bumper).
Windshield was cracked up / broken from rock hits.
Traded for TACO = payment the same as Tundra and payoff date the same. (6 yr finance on Tundra / 5 hr finance on Taco)
Company truck / trade fairly regular.
    Also.....Taco gets better gas mileage.

I do miss the refined Tundra, power, comfort and power back glass. But the trade is good. I love the Taco.

I had a 2003 Taco. Traded it for an 04 Tundra. Loved the Tundra but when they made dramatic improvements in 06....I had to have one.

So I've had one Taco and two Tundras. And now I'm on my 2nd Taco and love it.

I came close to buying a new Tundra. But honestly I test drove them and didn't care for them nearly as much as my 06 Tundra. I don't see them as making perfect improvements to the Tundra just yet. Need to wait a couple more years perhaps before the Tundras are back on track with greatness. They are big and bulky like driving a semi-truck. And the option packages including bed size and power back glass do not add up to a truck you can work in with four full size doors and power back glass and full size bed. Not good.

Answer for me was: TAco and it's really great. Although it is somewhat of a 'cheaper' type of truck. I miss the extreme luxury and 'super truck' feel.

    But taco good !!!!!!

I fixed the seatbelt chime last nite....after reading on this website how to turn that dang thing off. What a joke that was.

THANKS TO THIS WEBSITE....I am now chime free !!
